I sold and item to a buyer in Canada, shipped it out, he received it no issues.
Buyer came back and purchased another item, sent it out Expedited, and now it has been returned to me unclaimed.
I have not heard from the buyer regarding this item, and I had to pay when it was returned to me.
Now what? I am not inclined to ship it back out without the buyer paying for shipping again.

"I have not heard from the buyer regarding this item"
Have you contacted the buyer by email or - better yet - by telephone to explain the problem?

I have sent a message, no phone call, my French is terrible and he's in Quebec.

Just sit on it for a bit. You don't know the circumstances. He could be in the hospital or have died for all you know.

There is usually a reason on the box if Canada Post returned it. Take a close look at the package.

Only thing I can see is the box ticked that says "Unclaimed"....
I did consider the fact that he may have died...hope not 😞

Perhaps it was waiting at the postal outlet to be picked up and they either didn't pick it up for some reason or didn't realize it as even there. Either way, all you can do is wait for them to reply to you as to what happened.
