Have you read eBay's policy regarding medical devices?

Along with what @mrdutch1001 posted you can't sell any items that require a prescription. If you do try to list the item will be pulled very promptly and there is a potential to be banned. Best to do full due dilligence (research on any item) before listing. Make sure to review the "what can be sold" portion of that link.

In addition to eBay's policies, you should consider personal liability. Your business insurance might only cover specific categories of goods. If you are a smaller seller or personal seller without business insurance, you are completely exposed.
Medical equipment sounds like it would have a very high liability.
Ultimately, if you're doing this on a small scale it's likely not worth the risk. If you're doing this on any reasonable scale with the hopes of it being a large full time business, you may want to consult a lawyer or specialist who understands what is required to import and sell medical devices in Canada.
