Hi there I'm just wondering how many seller accounts I can have on ebay and can I link them to the same paypal account? Thank you.

You can have as many as you want, all you need is a different email address for each one.
Payments from all your accounts can be funnelled to one PayPal account.

"how many seller accounts I can have on ebay"
While you can have as many accounts as you have email addresses, there is no real advantage in having more than one account, unless you want an account to buy and one to sell (both can use the same PayPal account).
Very experienced eBay sellers with substantial business may have a need for more than one seller's account. That would be a question for the distant future.

Correct me, but, with seller limits, you are limited to an overall amount, not per account?
I get the theory of multiple accounts, but, not the practicality.
Seller Limits are set per account, you may be thinking of account restrictions (Below Standard), those apply to all your accounts.

Hello 'soul...',
If you want to see ebay's official word on having multiple accounts, you can take a peek at this:
http://pages.ebay.ca/help/policies/multiple-accounts.html
How to link your ebay and payal accounts is demonstrated here:
http://pages.ebay.ca/help/account/link-paypal.html
and for everything you may need to know about selling limits, there's this:
http://pages.ebay.ca/help/sell/sellinglimits.html
It seems like a lot, but it's all super short and easy.
Happy ebaying.

All good reasons, particularly the separation of different types of goods. If you start selling stamps, coins, cosmetics and CD's, for example, all on the same account, buyers will likely think you don't have expertise in any one area.
