Where do I specify the buyer will receive a revised invoice for purchase of multiple quanities?
A buyer recently purchased quanity of 5 and paid only 1 shipping. I checked the invoice, eBay invoiced the buyer only 1 shipping.
I can't find any reason why this happened. No issues in the settings either. I would have expected ebay to ask me to send a revised invoice for multiple quanity or expect me to send the invoice before the buyer paid.
I have a few listings now with multiple quanities for item. I haven't had multiple quanity sale for long time so I can't think of a reason why this issue started now. But it wasn't an issue in the past with my listings.
The shipping is already tight for the heavy items I am shipping and multiple quanity will on top of that kick-in higher shipping fees.
So I would have sent an invoice the buyer with 4X the shipping cost, because that what my true cost was.
Unfortunately with cases like this, if the buyer receives an invoice and there is one shipping cost for multiple items, I would be screwed. It was a long argument but the buyer settled but if this wasn't settled, I would be left with loss or the option to cancel the transaction in which case I would get on my record.
Not sure what's the reason. See pics of my settings. What else needed?

Was the purchase from 1 listing or from different listings?
The screen shot that you posted doesn't appear to be a multiple item listing. Otherwise, since you are charging a flat rate for shipping, there would be a second box where you would specify how much shipping the buyer has to pay for another item. In many cases two items is not double the cost of one so it is up to the seller to post that extra cost. If you aren't going to combine shipping but sending each item separately then you would price the second shipping cost the same as the first.
If the purchases were from different listings you have to set up combined shipping rules in your shipping preferences and then indicate on each listing if it is to follow that 'rule'.
Without being able to look at your listings it makes it more difficult to figure out the problem but hopefully I was of some help. If you have more info, let us know.

You are right, I didn't notice that. I missed that box. I went to relist to the order and there it was.. $0.00 for added shipping. Now I need to check every listing. I must have been asleep when I listed that.
I appreciate.
