Shipping to Egypt

Anyone have experience with this? I used to have no problem shipping internationally but I have noticed countries customs departments will hold things forever/lose them/etc.

Egypt is no worse than most Mediterranean countries. The only one I won't ship to is Israel. (Okay, and Syria, but there is an active war there.)

I'd certainly be using Air Mail, which is a given, and probably Signature Confirmation if that is available.

And let your customer know the cost in advance, and that he is responsible for duty and sales taxes , and when you ship add the tracking number to your feedback and send an email including the tracking number and a link to Canada Post's tracking system.

Which is probably overkill.

Thanks for the reply. The only method with confirmation is Priority International, so that $120 will probably scare them off anyways.

Mentioning Israel is funny because that was one of the quickest and smoothest international transactions I have done before.
