So once positive feedback is received, shouldnt funds be released to PayPal

So I have sold a couple of items, one has been received and I have received positive feedback and even a thank you email from the buyer. Shouldn't the funds from that sale be released instead of a few days time. I understand the buyer protection but she's provided feedback and has no qualms. How can this be sped up.

Your information about the 21 days hasn’t been true for a long time...at least a couple of years if not longer.   Canadians have the same rules as US sellers for payment have holds.

If you're a new seller, the payment will be available to you 3 days after tracking shows the package was delivered. if you haven't added tracking details, your payments will be available:

  • 7 days after your latest estimated delivery date
  • 21 days after your buyer pays

Sorry, no.

Feedback is just the "have a nice day" of online commerce.

While it can be useful (sellers should read the 'FB left for others' whenever possible), it has no effect on your selling account.

As a non-US seller, your customer's cleared payments will be Held for the entire 21 day period. This lumps Canadians in with Lithuanian and Malaysian sellers.

'Murrica!

You can phone Help and Contact at the bottom of this page, get a phone and PIN number, and request a review of this based on  your record of sales over time.

Because you are selling in a high fraud category (Pandora) and because you have sold in three different categories, you might not be accepted this month.

So try again next month.

You can also ask to have your listing restrictions eased at the same time.

Best wishes in your endeavours.
