Anywho, eBay phones me this morning. Some of you will be getting the same call. I know. I asked. 1-866 number, no name.

I just got the same call 2.5 nano seconds ago and came here to post about it but someone had beaten me to the draw.

It wasn't even an automated call it was a real live person.

I hope they dump the Canadian version of the eBay Motors board as no one ever visits it.

Come to think of it they could dump the Canadian Answer Centre as anything posted there could also be dealt with on the discussion boards.

I wonder if people with multiple accounts will get multiple phone calls???

Yes.  An announcement is coming soon.

As Canadians we often complain that changes come on eBay.com months before we see them on eBay.ca.  This time it is different! 🙂

The new discussion boards will be available first on eBay.ca.

I don't know about the others but as far as I know there's nothing to talk about! The phone call (left on my voice mail) said that there will be changes on the board...that's about it. There was no info about what was changing or why it was changing.

Has anyone else noticed that getting to the community chat groups on the .com site is very difficult now?

With the pinks coming on here to monitor and hold weekly sessions I have to wonder if the plan may be to do away with these chats altogether.

Forums are changing soon. Liveworld lost the contract for the forums at the end of June 2013 and the forums will change somewhat. eBay to announce the changes soon.

We all know eBay likes to make a profit by charging nickels and dimes, here and there.  Will eBay start charging for every post on the new boards?

It may take a while for users to refer to eBay employees as "blues" instead of "pinks". 🙂

I'd like to be the first to coin the new term "BBs" for "Blue Borders".. but we'll see if that stick 😉
