Who is shutting down during Christmas

Many of you are shutting down for Christmas. Some simply want the time off, some have done decent this year and can take the time off.

Actually I could fall into both categories, but I choose to stay open. I have stayed open every year and it has been worth it. I find its a great time to sell. There are a good number of sellers that shut down for the holidays meaning less listing, giving me  better exposure. 

Anyone staying open , I have one suggestion. Dont use auction. Do everyting Buy It Now. Though there are buyers out there , there is not enough to get a good auction going on your item.

Happy Holidays to everyone, and hope that Ebay lowers fees next year. ( can always wish, right! )

I don't shut down during the Christmas time as December is the best month for me every year, especially when they buy my expensive items.  It seems that lots of buyers spend their time on eBay during the month of December than any other months.  The other time was best is when there are storms, either rain storm or snow storms, my items get sold a lot.

When there was Sandy Hurricane, I sold way lots of items than usual.  I am puzzled as I thought they would have power outages but it worked!
