Am I the only one who's tired of these promos? "Too many" is like "not enough". I don't sell anything during these **&?P% promos because the site is flooded with junk!

I got this promo I'm sorry to those whose sales are affected negatively by these promos, but if it weren't for these freebie promos I certainly wouldn't have been able to reach 300 positive feedback today!

No, you're not alone. All I see when these promos come up is a ton more listings in a ocean of listings.

It took me 5 long years. Not easy at all LOL especially when buyers don't tend to leave feedbacks nowadays but then again I'm only a hobby seller. Next goal is 500... cuz purple is my favourite colour. Guess that will take another 5 years

I'm in the opposite camp of the more the better. I always have more sales when I qualify for a promo.

Maybe because you can list more when they have a promo. Which is not my case, because I'm just a part-time seller selling my own goods that I either have twice or that I don't want anymore. Even if I wanted to, I can't list more simply because I don't have more items to list! So of course, these promos are of no use to me. LOL!

My inventory is limited as well, but these promos provide an opportunity to list harder to sell items or lower priced items which I wouldn't normally spend money on to list. And probably one or more of these items that I list for sale from time to time peaks the interest of a potential buyer who may then look at my other listings, because I do tend to have more sales when I've taken advantage of a promotion.

I could never come up with 1000 listings if I sold everything I own 🙂 The maximum number of listings I've ever had is 500, split between two accounts, but on average I have in the neighbourhood of 350 to 400.
