broken site: "Combined Payments and Shipping Discounts"

Since at least a week or two, the settings for combined payments and discounted shipping can not be changed. On eBay.ca the popup windows where the settings can be changed will not come off at all, on eBay.com and eBay.de is it not possible to save anything you changed.

I reported this issue to eBay about a week ago, and since it seems to be a global issue, one would assume they put it on high priority and have a task force fixing it.

But until now, nothing happened. It still does not work.

eBay confirmed the issue already some days ago, so it's not me.

Is it working for someone else? Maybe with a specific browser? Or is there another way to set these rules up, other than here:

That's very strange... it works for me (screenshot below of what I see when I click on the link). I'm using Chrome version 66.0.3359.181. Anyone else?

Try to change the settings, and tell if you can update / save it.

It looks like happy-pigeon is on .com but I tried it on .ca and was able to save a flat rate shipping rule.

Tried again from 2 different PCs, Firefox and Chrome, and eBay.ca and .com.

The result:

On eBay.ca, no PC / browser combination shows any of the popups where the settings can be changed.

On eBay.com I was able to change my Flat shipping rule. But I can not change the promotional shipping rules. The popup window for the latter only shows Screen 1 of 2, but never the 2nd screen, and it does not react on cancel or close as well.

Please keep trying! Would be nice to have some more peoples experience here before I talk to eBay again.

I can get that page to display. But links are not working on that page for me (although that may be due to parts of eBay being very slow for me at the moment).

I run Puppy Linux 7.5 using the latest version (May 2018) of the Palemoon browser.

Am not currently using the new Seller hub on eBay.CA (only on .COM) -- so that might be one area where the problem could be lurking.

Thanks, that's my experience, too. The page itself loads, but on ebay.ca none of the links works (to pop-up the settings windows). On ebay.com the links work, and the windows pop up, but changed settings can not be saved.

I really wonder why there is absolutely NO statement from eBay about that issue. Probably not many seller play with these settings.

If you only list on .ca setting up the shipping discounts on .com won’t work as the discounts on .com are to set up US dollar listings. I did notice on .ca that I couldn’t get the pop up on.ca to come up more than once. I had to close the page and try again.  Perhaps clearing and cookies would help??

pjcdn2005 that's not it. On eBay.ca the "Edit" links on yhe site "My eBay: Combined Payments and Shipping Discounts" only reload the page, but do not open the popup windows. This has nothing to do with caching issues or browser problems. It is (at least for me) the same on every device. For example my daughters smart phone. Exactly the same thing as on EVERY of our office PCs. I still don't understand why you guys (eBay) do not take it serious. This is ridiculous.

Update: Tried again this evening on .CA and the popups now come up, but when I make changes and click on save it gives any error message about not saving plus all the buttons and links inside the current popup die.

I am in a chat with eBay support members for about a week or so. Now they want to try to do the necessary changes I got to get done for me on their end... hopefully it will work.

They seriously can't fix this bug?  I have been not combining shipments for weeks now because they won't fix this.

It has been fixed in the meantime. I was able to change the settings on all local eBay websites just 2 or 3 days ago.

its a shot in the dark but when things work for everyone else and not for me I clear out my browsing history in chrome and restart chrome and that fixes the issue about 90% of the time. I find when there is too much stored data in your history, at least Chrome, will start to act up and not display things properly.

This is of course something pretty helpful - in certain cases. But this time, the issue was confirmed by eBay. But it was frustrating to find out day by day, that they haven't been able to fix it for more than 2 weeks.
