There are a lot of very worrying details in that article, Pierre, especially for Canadian sellers. In fact, just about everything after the first paragraph...
I have to agree with the seller who said this: "EBay is apparently twisting itself into a pretzel shape as it tries to deal with this metric they have created".
We don't really even know what eBay's estimated delivery times are. So how can we know if and when they get changed, unless eBay itself announces it? They can do what they like with these metrics in the background.

For the life of me I don't understand Ebay. They are constantly talking about buyer satisfaction and these changes demonstrate again the waste of effort on the backs of sellers.
Buyers that continue to shop Ebay, will continue to shop Ebay. I doubt this will increase buyers purchases. For others who don't use Ebay for various reasons, will not get this information, because Ebay refuses to get the message out. Possible future buyers do not read these threads, don't go on Ecommerce to see if Ebay has improved buyer satisfaction. So what is this?
Ebay must realize that their credibility in the marketplace is tarnished and does nothing to improve their image.
They talk so much about buyer satisfaction , but refuse to get the word to those that matter.
Don't get me wrong I'm all for buyer satisfaction but I am also for some effort on Ebay's part to broadcast these buyer satisfaction news.
Well if this newest change helps Ebay then good on them.
