I am located in the USA but my account says Canada. How do I change it to USA?

Somehow, my account is listed as Canadian, but I am in the USA. How do I correct this? Thanks for your help.

Where on the site does it state that you have a Canadian eBay account?

You've somehow found yourself on the Canadian eBay site (eBay.ca rather than eBay.com) but I don't think that's what your problem is, if I'm understanding you correctly.

Were you living in Canada when you opened this account back in 2005?

You can use this account to list on both dotCOM and dotCA, although on dotCA you will only be able to list in Canadian dollars.

Does the account give your US address or your Canadian address?

In any case, if this account is not on the site you will find easiest and most useful to use, abandon it and open a new one.

There should be no problems since you've never used it in 15 years and any credit card information attached to it would be out of date by now anyway.

But it is likely that all you have to do is go to the URL at the top of the page and change the ebay.ca to ebay.com.
