We are seeing consistent improvements in on-time shipments for all carriers, including USPS; and late deliveries have returned to pre-COVID-19 levels. Due to these improvements, as of Oct 1, 2020 we have paused our temporary Seller Protections for late deliveries. Timely delivery of your items is important to your buyers and critical to your success on eBay. As always, you are responsible for shipping within your stated handling time and any shipments that were handled on time but delivered late by a carrier will not count as late shipments.
As we head into the holiday selling season, we recognize that the COVID-19 business environment is ever-changing. We’ll continue to closely monitor on-time shipping metrics and carrier performance and adjust our policies as necessary.
