On June 14th, we updated the eBay Canada site to only support new listings created in Canadian dollars. We’d like to thank the thousands of Canadian sellers who have already converted their eBay.ca-listed US dollar listings to Canadian dollars, and/or migrated those listings to eBay.com.

As the next and final step in this process, all remaining Good ‘Til Cancelled listings created in US dollars and listed on eBay.ca must be converted or migrated.

Beginning on August 3rd, Good ‘Til Cancelled listings created on eBay.ca in US dollars will no longer renew.

Beginning on August 3rd 2016, all remaining Good ‘Til Cancelled (GTC) listings created on eBay.ca in US dollars will be ended by eBay as they reach their first scheduled renewal date on or after August 3rd.

For example, if you have a GTC listing created in US dollars and listed on eBay.cathat is scheduled to automatically renew on August 21st, then that listing will end on August 21st.

What you need to do

Convert or migrate your GTC inventory using the eBay Migration Tool as soon as possible, and prior to August 3rd.

If you aren’t sure whether or not you have any remaining US dollar live listings created on eBay.ca that need to be converted or migrated, log in to the eBay Migration Tool and you can see a refreshed list of any remaining non-compliant listings.

Enhancements to the eBay Migration Tool

To better accommodate sellers with multi-quantity listings, the eBay Migration Tool has been updated so that the actual quantity (original quantity minus sold quantity) is respected on the resulting draft listing.
