I activated it from the thread. It accepted me, confirms it accepted me, but it's not on my Seller Manager page.
Ending ending ended and relisted as a stores listing not a promo one.....
Is this happening to anyone but me?

What? You guys have promos that start Dec. 10? My link led to Dec. 13, I now see.
Me, who tells everyone to read the fine print of promos did not read the fine print herself. Funny thing is that I don't ever recall having seen a promo you accept that doesn't become effective at that precise moment that you accept it.
It could be someone at ebay fixed things to match the promo info page (or ebay's just out to get you again...) 
Dec 13 should be when it goes active for you. One of the promos I had this fall was a promo that I managed to activate 2 days before it allowed me to use it.

The promo info detail page for me also says 500 fixed price, but My eBay says 500 auction or fixed price. Checked (with an auction) and what the My eBay promo section shows is what is actually active.

I wouldn't do 10 days BIN as I'd prefer to not have much sales the next two weeks (not a fan of going out in the snow though I did built a snowman last night), in case of last minute shoppers who buy something in the upcoming week and expect them to arrive by Dec 25... The good part of auction is that when I do 10 days or however many days auction, I don't expect myself to have to rush to the post office to mail. Let's say I get 5 sales at the end of the auctions and the buyers do all pay within a couple days then I (or my family) only need to make one trip to the post office. To me that's very convenient 
If I were to do BIN I'd have done 30 days fixed price instead. But I don't need to do that because I still have that 50000 monthly GTC promo ebay gave me since September, so after the auction finishes they are back to GTC
I was all confused about how I activated a promo that didn't show up on my Selling Manager and then noticed more was accepted for different dates. It just appeared.
