Currently I have Top Rated Seller performance however because 4 people did not receive their items in the mail last month and opened a case of which I refunded each customer in full and filed the insurance claims with the post office my account has been restricted. I now have to wait 21 days to access my funds through paypal... This is clearly a poor policy as I have absolutely no control over the parcel once it has been shipped out. I also acted immediately to the cases which no one contacted me prior to opening the case. This is a policy that needs to be reviewed by eBay and amended as it is unfair business practices.
I called eBay to get support and have this issue resolved and they simply said they can't do anything about it till the next review a month away... I politely asked for contact info to someone within the company that would review this policy with me and correct it. Although the customer service rep agreed with me completely she couldn't give me anyone else to talk to about this issue.
I am disappointed and I have been a long time seller and buyer on eBay. I have been to huge eBay conferences and spoke directly with all levels of the company and it appears they have shut the door to the office.
Accountability and Communication are the 2 keys to success in life let alone business.
