After buying an item, I was told I had won it! So, I thought I would get two for the price of one! And in fact, I really want a second one!

Hi! After buying an item (Nintendo's Korg DS 10 Plus), I received an e-mail from the seller stating that I had won the item; but it was already paid for! The e-mail stated to visit my e-Bay account to complete the transaction, but nothing in my account!

Contacted (e-mail) the seller... no answer!

In fact, I really want a second copy of the same item, because it is important to me! But I don't know if there was a mistake about that e-mail saying «you have won the item xyz»; if not a mistake, when will I receive it?

If a mistake, I want to know about it, because I want to buy another one before it's out of stock and/or production!!!

Hi seller is running a business not a contest. I'm sure it was nothing more than customer service acknowledgement of the item you did purchase.

When eBay sends out a message saying you have WON something it means you are the highest bidder at the end of the listing not that you are getting the item for free.

You won it in the sense that you out bid the other bidders.
