Hey guys!
I believe I have progressed fairly well since I started selling 2-3 months ago and it's in a big part thanks to some of you. 🙂
I know however I could attract more buyers by optimizing / improving certain aspects in my store and listings.
i.e. I know there are some marketing tools available for stores that could provide a greater visibility for my items... anyone use these?
Maybe I should use more pictures? Most of the item I sell are new / like new however.
Would anyone take the take to review 1 or 2 (or more) of my listings and store settings and tell me anything I should change?
Thanks a ton in advance! 🙂

Why do you have a store when you have 17 listings? Also, are you using a drop shipper? If not, where do you get your items? I would be too scared to sell items that I could not afford to lose.

The fees for that stuff are 6% less with a store. $400 in sales a month more then pays for it

I doubt he is making $400 a month in sales.

hes made thousands in sales this month...saved a lot of fees having a store

If he has made thousands then why is he asking for advice? He should be happy with that considering everyone else seems to not be selling right now.

Seriously? People should not try to improve things but be happy with what they have?

Some comments:
1) Use Store Categories instead of default store category "Other".
2) In your return policy text description, you use the word "defectuous". I had to look this up in Google. It is an old word in English not commonly used so I would suggest using the current more common and active word "defective".
3) In some listings you have copied and pasted the description directly from another web site and this violates web site copyright laws and eBay policies. For example, the Samsung DA-E570 is a word for word copy of Best Buy site listing. You added your own text at the end of the description. Images used also appear to be copied from a third party website. In the Crucial Memory listings, the copied text includes a hot link to another web site for the image of the item in the description. Not allowed to hot link to a third party web site if you are not the owner of the web site or you do not have permission to do so. There are other issues like this in your listings.

Thanks a ton!
I'll review my listings and remove these.
I'll also change the wording of my return policy.
English isn't my first language so it's sometimes hard to find the right / correct words.
I really appreciate your help with this! 🙂

Just wondering, what difference does it make to have categories?
Is it for other items from the same category to be shown in listings?

"what difference does it make to have categories?"
Take a look at any of your listings. In the description portion, at left, you see:
Now, take a look at any other store where items are put into specific categories. As one sees many selections, a potential buyer may be tempted to click on the link to take a look.
In your store, in the title box, you show:
"Welcome to my eBay Store. Please add me to your list of favourite sellers and visit often. Thank you for your business."
You certainly can do better than that. Say something about yourself. The invitation to add to a list of favourite sellers or mailing list can be arranged in a promotion box at left. Take a critical look as to what other store owners do.

Well, GG, you sell stuff I have no grip on, in a manner I do not. I have nothing. Shock and awe across the country as Mr E does not have an opinion.
What I like is that you are open to ideas and opinions. The only thing constant about change, is change itself.
Constantly move, shift, re-invent, revise. Pierre and the other big time sellers can give you selling ideas. For me, getting bigger, entailed warehouse and assembly line activities. I instituted processes that allowed for easy packaging and mailing.
I was dumpster diving to save as many pennies as possible. Trouble was "A nickel holding up a dollar". I shifted to U-Line boxes, and then to bubble mailers. I have gone through thousands of bubble mailers.
I hope ya make a million dollars.

Hi GG, others have given you some good suggestions here.
My only suggestion would be to provide actual photos for 'Used' items rather than the stock photos. Stock photos for 'New' items are fine, but in my experience buying and selling on eBay, one person's description of a used item may not match the expectations of another. Photos will show the seller exactly what they are receiving.
Best of luck.

I agree that pictures of the actual item can save you problems down the road. Plus, I'm not positive but I think that you are only allowed to use stock pics for used items in a limited amount of categories.

Thanks guys!
I will improve my store title and osrt my items in categories.
I will also consider adding some pictures.
What's my main issue atm is the selling limit... got lots of stuff sitting in my room but I can't list it.
I think I'll give amazon a try too.
