I believe I am 0 for 4 for Mexico. I have now blocked them. Chile and El Salvador as well are blocked. Israel will be next.

Thanks for the info.  Good to have a hot list of countries to avoid. Don't need any help losing money by giving refunds.

Yes. I've sent 2 items to Mexico this year, both buyers said that their items didn't arrive so Mexico is one of the very few countries that I block.

I lived in Mexico for more than a decade.  I probably got 2 of the 20 things that were mailed to me.  Even letters didn't arrive.  I don't ship to Mexico from eBay, but I do from a website that I run, with registered shipping only, and with the express understanding that I am not responsible once the package has been sent out!

If the buyer says they didn't get the item, they most likely didn't. Every package entering the country is opened for "inspection", and "inspectors" just take whatever they like.

I guess I got lucky, sent two orders to Mexico, both arrived with no problems. I used to ship everywhere,(Italy, Russia, Brazil etc) and all the orders got there, but have cut down the countries I ship to, since the defects came into being. I found that many countries simply took too long to arrive.

In ten years, only one package has been lost, and it was to Calgary, so anything going there, goes tracked.
