I recently started buying a lot more on eBay after I got engaged and wanted to save some money to do everything DIY for the wedding. I came across a dress which I thought would be perfect for my bridesmaids except I wanted some changes. The seller agreed to do the changes to make a customized dress but because it is not the dress in the listing, they asked me for my paypal email to send me an invoice. Stupid me didn't know that I won't have eBay or paypal protection since it is not an eBay transaction. I got the dress but it is horrible. The dress style is wrong, the color is wrong, and the stitches are so horrible that I can sew straighter than their "professional dressmakers". I tried contacting them many times to hopefully ship the dress back and get a refund but they are not responding. Is there anything I can do to report the seller or leave negative feedback to warn others? Is it very unprofessional for me to plaster the seller's name and their bad selling ethics in the discussion boards?
