Buyer said eBay rejected denied her card...

I sold a book few days ago and the buyer messaged me and said she couldn't pay yet because "eBay told me that my card was denied by my card issuer. it appears that the bank shut my off on accident because they thought it had been stolen." Bottom line is, she asked me if I could extend the payment window to Jan 21 (I set my UIA to file @ day 8), so that she gets her new card to pay me. That or relist the book as a new auction so that she could bid again when she is able to pay.

Which got me really confused... what kind of card has she been trying to pay? There is no guarantee that she can pay for real by Jan 21. Anyhow, the buyer only had 2 feedback score and it was from buying something in Sept 2012.

So in this case, would you just let the unpaid item assistant do its job and file a case at day , so that I get my FVF back?
Or extend the UIA's period to 24 days, giving her enough time to pay, while still giving me the protection to get FVF back if she doesn't?

Or send her a mutual cancellation (in hopes that she'll click accept the sale cancellation as told) to get FVF back?

The buyer had been polite with her messages overall, though. I`m not sure if blocking her would be too extreme...

Thanks for your input!
