Can I get my money back on an item if the seller has not shipped my item yet?

I purchased an item that is from the US using paypal. I am from Canada and I even paid for the second shipping option so that it would arrive before I go away on vacation. However, I managed to buy the product at a store nearby so now I want to cancel this before the seller ships it out and get my money back. I have contacted the seller once already two days ago and has not gotten back to me.

It would be up to the seller whether he/she would reimburse you if the item has not been shipped.

Seeing they have left you feedback there is probably a good chance it has been shipped seeing you told them you wanted ASAP.

If it gets to you before you leave on vacation you could always take back the one you bought that was close to you.
