First of all let me just say Hello to all of you and thank you in advance for your replies.
i'm really interested in electronics. Mainly smartphones.
I love gadgets and electronics in general and know about most of the new tech that's hot right now and the ones that are coming out soon.
What i would like some info on is how to actually be able to get these devices before they are released or how to find suppliers if i am ever interested in actually selling these products.
I know websites who could sell me bulk orders but it would ship AFTER devices are released and it would make no sense to buy it that way.
Thank you

First buy controlling interest in Best Buy and Future Shop….
Seriously, dear. If these major businesses can’t get stock before the release date, neither can you.
However, you are wise to avoid any “supplier” which promises to ship from the factory such high-fraud, high- counterfeit products. The entire run of such products is pre-sold to the brand which then distributes to the retailers.
As I understand it, the sellers who offer such items on eBay, but do not have an actual B&M retail presence, are selling refurbished products, for the most part.
For stock, check out your local Yellow Pages for liquidators, jobbers and commercial auctions. Get on their lists or visit warehouses constantly. You will be paying up front (for the first couple of years anyway) but you will see the product you are buying and you may be able to negotiate on price once they get to know you.

This falls under the heading "If you have to ask ....".
To have access, you need to be inside the industry. You need access to the wholesale stream or store returns stream. You can show up with all the money you like, but, if they do not know you, they will not deal with you.
Femme is not far off. Get a job in a store and become the cellphone expert. That puts you in touch with inventory and industry reps. After a couple of years of getting to know the business and the players, maybe you can get a few phones.
Most of us turned a hobby into business. Some already had the business and just moved it to the eBay platform. You want to buy your way in. Not going to happen.

Sound advice.
I have also mentioned this previously.
Yes, get to know the people. Do not go to a rack jobber, wholesaler expecting a deal during your initial visit. You will initially get a fair deal, but Great Deals will come your way once they get to know you. You will be very surprised how many back doors will open.
There will always be Great Deals but they will not always release them at once. They want you to come back.
Picked up 115 shirts on Monday. They just left me an email with the picturers of the shirts asking if i was interested. Of course i was.

Thank you so much for the replies guys.
I just wanted to understand how it was done if anyone knew. But i get that its not as easy as hey i have some money and i want some phones to sell.
The thing is Future Shop and Best Buy are different. They sell through Rogers, bell, etc.. But i am interested in selling Factory Unlocked products..
I agree that working in the industry would be the best way to go about it.
Anyway thank you again for the replies 🙂

"But i am interested in selling Factory Unlocked products.. "
Why not contact Blackberry directly.
Tell them you have $100,000 to invest in their new Blackberry and see what they reply. You have nothing to lose but a few minutes of your time.
