I am an amputee and am searching for a size 8 cowboy boot. I am willing to pay the asking price. I prefer black but will take what ever is available. I will be paying with PayPal in Canadian funds.

There is a Want It Now section on eBay which allows people to ask for specific items. The one on dotCOM is much more active than the one on dotCA.
Asking bootsellers, directly if they can sell singles would be another possibility.
You could also try Craigslist and Kijiji in Alberta cities and towns,.
If you wear your boots daily, you could have the right boot installed on your prothesis, but it would be a pain to take on and off every day.
BTW- Canadian funds will worry and upset American sellers. Plan to pay in US dollars. PP will deal with foreign exchange.

Hello 'online_buyer',
It is really unlikely you'll be able to find just one boot for sale anywhere. If money is not a huge problem, you'll need to consider buying the pair. To get one made special will cost quite a bit more, - custom shoes where I live run around $1600/pr. It's annoying to only want part of something, - like when we only want the jacket but we have to buy the skirt, too. I think the best option, both in terms of cost and selection, is to find a pair you like enough that you won't mind only using part of it. If you're really happy with it, that's what counts.
