I heard that this china was gifted to railway executives in the 1930's for long service.
It's stamped Souvenir of First Cargo China Ware from England to Canada via Ft Churchhill and Hudson Bay Railway
It's very pretty. I have a used service for about five five, plates, sandwich plates, soup bowls, and more plus all sorts of extra, like gravy boats, pickle dishes, cups & saucers, serving bowls with and without lid. It's square with a cornflower pattern.
Anyone have a clue what this is worth?

It's worth $18.31.
Rare is not a synonym for valuable.
However, this item might find more buyers in Canada than in Britain.

Not about the plate (it's very nice BTW) ........... but eil9: Plates are a hard sell at any price. Also hard to pack safely and expensive to ship.
But that is right on.
Some things listed as rare aren't nearly rare enough.
