Have cleared my cache all that good stuff....nothin
Keep getting the:
The connection was interrupted
The connection to www.paypal.com was interrupted while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

yes I had the same issues... tried the usual suspects (cache/ change browser/reboot) with no luck, before phone paypal... The front line worker said the tech dept knows about it.. and just to verify, I should redo emptying cache again.. Which I did... Which then brought up a new message
"You have exceeded the amount of times you can reprint. please void the label"
To which the paypal front line person said it was an issue with Canada post interface...and I should just go to a post office directly. (well being in a wheelchair, and snow covered sidewalks hats not really an option right now) So I ended up calling Canada Post, who said its not their issue, its paypals., that their electronic shipping tools are up and active. So, I tried via the CPC website, and was able to successfully pay/print postage, And have since gone back into PP and voided that label. Now just waiting for the 15 days to pass to get the shipping costs refunded......
So the simple answer is... NO you are NOT alone!

A few minutes ago I tried printing a Paypal label on Firefox and I got the same message...connection interrupted. I tried a couple of more times and got the same message. Then I signed into Paypal on IE and it printed the first time.

Yes, there is a problem with Paypals shipping labels. Everything works until the window pops up where the label should appear, but it doesn't connect and gives an error message. Had to void the label and now wait 15 days for a refund from Canada Post.
Called Paypal and got a very unhelpful jerk who blamed the problem on the Firefox web browser. Went to the Firefox website as he said there was a notice on their website about it, but couldn't find any info about it.
So now I wait 15 days for a $18.75 refund from Canada Post and my buyer in Ireland dosen't get his parcel shipped today. Way to go Paypal!

I was using Firefox too.
Hoppy, were you using Firefox?

Why would you make your buyer wait rather then going to the post office or outlet and buying postage there? Since the problems seems to be FF, try printing on IE or on the CP website.

007steve,
Yes I was using firefox, and getting the same error. saying the paypal website lost connection. I also tried with Chrome, and oddly got a different error
"The USPS site can not be contacted, or might be busy, please try later" in a yellow box, with paypal letterhead/images on top. (unlike the blank screen with the lost connection error under firefox)
This error was perplexing, because, the postage was using CPC as the carrier, Expedited USA parcel. (which I know does have a USPS logo included just above the bar code)
I successfully printed off Expedited USA parcel label yesterday, same computer, same set up, using firefox with no software updates recently installed. So what ever changes they (Paypal) did behind the scenes has conflicts.
I am not running a MS machine, and don't have IE installed
As I said using the CPC electronic shipping site, with success. and had the parcels picked up, so they are on their merry way now to their new homes. The labels from CPC look a little different than the ones printed from PP, but in the end who cares about the cosmetic layout of the label... so long as its valid, and prints off like it should I am cool with it all! LOL

Just a comment.
Yesterday, Microsoft notified me of several updates for my Windows XP system. Microsoft sends out these updates around the middle of each month. I had it set to notify and not install. I installed later in the day. I never allow any package to update automatically, I set them to notify me first.
After the Microsoft Update, I got a update notice from Adobe Flash and ran that update.
I am curious if any of you having PayPal issues had Microsoft and or Adobe updates yesterday that were automatically installed.
I have often speculated that automatic updates by Microsoft, FireFox, Adobe, whatever results in surprises the day after an update that the computer user had no idea was updated. Thus the it worked perfectly the day before comments.
Most likely it is a PayPal issue but I wonder if the updates broke something and PayPal has to program around it.

I had an automatic Microsoft update yesterday.

Poco,
I know you are grabbing at straws like the rest of us.. and its possible and sure it does count for many issues... In my situation, I am using linux, so that eliminates any MS update possibilities. I have it to be notified of any updates, and I know there were no adobe updates in the past week, let alone the past 24 hours installed (i have checked versions last downloaded ect) Not to mention with linux, some software updates you have to jump thru a few more hoops (command prompt) to install an update rather than just click "ok"
I have been caught in that automatic update morning after hang over before.... just because its a newer release dont make it better or a smooth transition....
Now it is quite possible and believable that the PP system needs some reworking.. Or at least the handshaking between CPC and PP.
FYI... CPC has some scheduled maintenance coming up on the business part of the site, "This application will undergo maintenance between Friday March 21 at 22:00 (ET) until Sunday March 23 at 23:59 (ET) and will be unavailable during this period." could be totally unrelated, but food for thought....

Canada Post has maintenance every weekend usually Sat Night to Sunday night. This weekend update sounds like a big one. They must be getting ready for the Lettermail rate changes, lol. To give them credit, the Jan updates for parcel services went well without any issues as far as I could tell.

I ended up printing the label using Internet Explorer. So the package is on it's merry way to the buyer. Paypal, however still gets an EPIC FAIL. Now I wait 2 weeks for an refund from Canada Post. Would it kill Paypal and/or Ebay to email sellers warning them about this problem???

Was about to start some printing but thought I'd ask here first if anyone using Firefox is still having any issues?

This is absolute that this isn't fixed yet.

I'm using Firefox and tried again to print two PayPal labels. Both had to be voided, and that was just a few minutes ago (9:30 a.m.)
Still not working and no mention of anyone feeling a need to try and fix anything. Arggggh...
