Ebay Trust and Safety Department Doesn't Care?

Just curious if anyone had any ideas regarding this matter of mine.

Over the past month, I've been reporting a user, yaton6262 for listing way over 10 identical items (Sony 2GB Memory). I have send the regular listing reports and also have typed up a small paragraph and sent it to ebay as "problem with a seller isn't listed". The horrible part of this situation is I've been monitoring this users sales for almost a month now and reporting, with very specific descriptions and item numbers. After almost 2 weeks, I finally get a response and Ebay tells me they have investigated and there is not over 10 items yet I had left 11 example item numbers IN the message I sent. I replied and stated this is not possible as I included the proof and I have over 100 item numbers on each specific date on what was being listed. I received another response saying they double checked and the user wasn't listing 10 items. The user had scaled his listings down to 5 or 6 but started back to 14-16 the next day again. This tells me that if the user is not "caught in the act" he gets away with it! I believe this is totally unacceptable considering I've been so dedicated and thorough. It wouldn't be very hard for ebay to search his completed listings (I can even do it).

To make matters worse, I had this exact same problem with 2 other users about a month before this and here we go again. I can't even begin to describe how this has affected my business and this user keeps blatantly disregarding policy and ruining everyones ebay experience.

Ebay live support was a joke, 3 times I used it for this and other support and they are of no help. I even tried calling a number someone posted in the forums, again, no help. I have pretty much concluded that ebay has no "real" support. Why would the trust and safety dept blatantly lie to me? Are they even looking? Or do they just don't care?

They really don't look to hard when you report something. I happen to know of a PSer who is shill bidding regularly. I've reported them, with pretty damning proof multiple times. The ONLY investigation ebay does is to simply check to see if the bidder is using the same computer to bid as they are to sell. If the user is smart enought not to, then they close the case without further investigation.

T & S is pretty pathetic.

REALLY???? That's terrible Whos Closet! They are supposed to also be checking for things in common like name, address, phone number between the two. Not just the computer being used to make the bids.

Try emailing griff@ebay.com

Ebay Trust and Safety Department Doesn't Care?

I have reported a user for improper bid retracting, Account was suspended, 24 hours later!!! If you dont report it, ebay is not self policing.

The user had 20 bid retractions in the past 6 months and he withdrew all his bids when he outbid me and posted two new bids of a lesser value under mine. LOL.

The listing issue may not be as serious to ebay. Who cares how many items someone has listed!!!, Unless of course your selling the same item and cant compete!.

I reported one for shill bidding (something I had bid on). The seller had repeadely listed the same very unqiue lot of items there was no way they could have multiples of, the same winner won each time, then item was immediatly relisted. Eaby's first resposne was that it wasn't shill bidding and sent me information on what shill bidding was. I replied to that and really spelled out what was going on, ebay responded they had taken appropriate action. Noticed sellers items were ended..2 days late they were back listing again, including the item they were shill bidding on. Don't see any point in reporting anything.
