Just curious if anyone had any ideas regarding this matter of mine.
Over the past month, I've been reporting a user, yaton6262 for listing way over 10 identical items (Sony 2GB Memory). I have send the regular listing reports and also have typed up a small paragraph and sent it to ebay as "problem with a seller isn't listed". The horrible part of this situation is I've been monitoring this users sales for almost a month now and reporting, with very specific descriptions and item numbers. After almost 2 weeks, I finally get a response and Ebay tells me they have investigated and there is not over 10 items yet I had left 11 example item numbers IN the message I sent. I replied and stated this is not possible as I included the proof and I have over 100 item numbers on each specific date on what was being listed. I received another response saying they double checked and the user wasn't listing 10 items. The user had scaled his listings down to 5 or 6 but started back to 14-16 the next day again. This tells me that if the user is not "caught in the act" he gets away with it! I believe this is totally unacceptable considering I've been so dedicated and thorough. It wouldn't be very hard for ebay to search his completed listings (I can even do it).
To make matters worse, I had this exact same problem with 2 other users about a month before this and here we go again. I can't even begin to describe how this has affected my business and this user keeps blatantly disregarding policy and ruining everyones ebay experience.
Ebay live support was a joke, 3 times I used it for this and other support and they are of no help. I even tried calling a number someone posted in the forums, again, no help. I have pretty much concluded that ebay has no "real" support. Why would the trust and safety dept blatantly lie to me? Are they even looking? Or do they just don't care?
