I was just wondering what tools some of you subscribe to and what your opinions are worth the cost?

Amen to that. I have used a number of third party tools and services over the years and have determined that SMP works best for my needs. It has faults and occasionally develops hiccups but it is priced reasonably for what it can do for you.

Blackthorne (was Sellers Assistant Pro).
Coming up on 6 years, very happy.
Not problem free and steep learning curve.
(you get SMP as a free bonus, possibly useful for a few auto things Blackthorne doesn't do).

recped: I have been debating the switch to Blackthorne but from what I read, you can only post to eBay.com. Is this true? How Canadian-friendly is it? I'd like to give it a whirl if it will allow you Canadian features like taxes by province or postal code entry (as opposed to ZIP code only).

The ability to list to .ca, .uk & .au was added in January. I've only used it once (promo day) and had no major problems. Really the only issue was changing the shipping options and items specifics which are different on .ca than .com
As for taxes, this has never been a problem with Blackthorne presuming you are not using "checkout".
From my limited use on .ca the only clunky part is if you are trying to list to .ca AND .com, in that case you need to maintain two sets of inventory items although I'm lead to believe that the inventory control can be spread across both sets of inventory (I don't use the inventory control features myself).
