Error in Bidding

Hello, when I bid on an item I realized after I confirmed my bid that the item is right handed and I require left handed.  I contacted the seller immediately by email but it has been two days and I have not received a response.  The item ends in two days  Is there anything else I can do?  I do not want to purchase and pay for shipping for an item that I cannot use. It was my mistake and I admit that  however, would like to hear something from the seller

The reasons are limited, do your best.

Bid retractions show on your feedback page, but since most sellers use Fixed Price rather than Auction listings, because buyers prefer them, this will make very little difference to you.

Thank you; good info. I was fortunate in that someone outbid me so I did not have to worry, but this is good to know. I will be more careful in the future
