For shipping from Canada we need buyers phone numbers

Canada Post has changed things once again.. Now to ship something to the states or international we will need to have buyers phone number for customs paper, which we need to now fill out online before going to post office .. If you have no phone number they cannot take your package.My question is do buyers not have to put their phone number somewhere where they sign up and we as sellers need to have it .. do I ask each buyer individually?

The buyer's phone number is usually on the Order Details page. After the buyer pays, click on View Order Details under your Sold page on My eBay.

You can also set your Site Preferences to require buyers to enter a phone number.

Go to My eBay > Account > Site Preferences > Shipping Preferences> Require phone number for shipping. Check 'Yes' and click on 'Apply'.
