I would like to know how to block buyers with a feedback score of 10 or less. I seem to have a lot of trouble with them. I do apologize for the ones who dont cause me grief but it seems that the unexperienced people click buy it now without reading thoroughly and then change there mind. I have lost sales because of this. Can somebody help???
Thanks Wendy

You can't block buyers because of their feedback number unless it is a negative number and I haven't seen anyone with a negative feedback number a few years.
You can block buyers who have had 2 or more unpaid item strikes in the last year. Do that by going to :
Account
Site preferences
Buyer requirements

Check off the requirements that you want to use

You can also block bidders who do not have an active Paypal account. Many of those are newbies, and a good percentage of those could be 'thrill bidders'.
If you are running auctions, you can monitor your bidders and cancel the bids of anyone you (dis)like. No explanation necessary. Add the cancelled bidder to your Blocked Bidder List.
Some categories are more likely to attract these pests than others.
However.
I read one of your listings - for a used women's shirt XS. There was very little information about the shirt. There was a lot of information about when you ship and what a nice person you are and how you want to please your customer.
What I wanted to know were the manufacturer's name , the colour, and the actual measurements. The rest is not useful to me.
Also the shirt was priced at about $22 and shipping was about $16. Are you wrapping it in 24k gold foil held by diamond studs? Some clean tissue paper, a pretty sticker and a nice note, in a poly envelope would move at letter rate or O/S letter rate within Canada. Just make sure the parcel is under 500 grams and 2 cm. thick.
On $22 you don't need tracking and insurance. To be more precise, you don't need to buy either. I would suggest that you self-insure by working out how many claims you have actually had compared to the number of sales and how much you have paid out for shipping with tracking and insurance.
In most cases for inexpensive items, you could add a dime or less to the shipping fee and use that as an 'insurance premium ' against claims of loss or damage.

I should have explained that a lot of new buyers don't look at the shipping cost and a shocked when they find out they have to pay for delivery.
Their bad.
But high shipping may be the reason for buyers abandoning their purchases.
