How do I get a refund on an item that I pre-ordered months ago? The seller won't respond, and Ebay and Paypal won't help. I'm not sure where to go for help.

Go to the credit card you really paid with. PP is just a useful mediator. Phone the 1-800 number on your card and ask the customer service clerk for a chargeback. Have all the information about your purchase handy, dates, amounts, transaction numbers, currency, to help her process your refund.

But even credit cards have deadlines. Act immediately.
