I am purchasing a Van and have been sent an email from eBay motors to now do a money gram to an eBay agent. How do I verify the eBay agent who will hold my money while the vehicle is shipped and passes my inspection? Thank you.

Did you purchase this van off an ebay listing.
SCAM
Looks like you got it from Kijiji, craigslist or auto trader.
If purchased from one of the above it is a SCAM and you will lise all your money and not get anything in return.
Type the following in the box above and then click on see similar questions.

Ebay does not have agents nor holds money.
Never wire money to a stranger.
Its a recurring SCAM on sits stated above.
Cease communication and report the ad to site found.

There is no van.
There are no eBay agents.
EBay does not deal with other sites.
She is not a recent widow.
He is not an oceanographer in the North Atlantic.
He is not a soldier in Iraq.
Or Afghanistan.
She might be sitting in an internet cafe in Lagos, nursing a coffee and sending hundreds of similar phishing attempts every hour.
It's a scam.
Don't send any money in any form. Report the scam to the site where you found the fraudulent listing.
