Probably no duty but HST and a service charge of about 20.00

Duty depends on place of manufacture, but UPS Standard guarantees that you will be charged a brokerage fee of $20 or more plus sales tax before UPS will hand it over.
Canada Post would have only charged $9.95 plus HST. And UPS Express includes the brokerage fee in the basic charge.
At least the seller is not compounding your costs by using the Global Shipping Programme. Who would have thought eBay could come up with a service that makes UPS look good?
