I finally made it back!!

After losing my powerseller status last fall, I finally made it back! Hope to stick around for a very long time.

When I left, I seem to remember that the Canada Post Powerseller discount wasn't worthwhile because of having to use Commercial Expedited to the US.

I just started reading through some of the posts on CP's desktop software and it seems like you no longer have to use Commercial Expedited to the US, but you can use regular expedited.

Do I understand this correctly?

You are correct. You don't have to use Commercial Expedited to US. Regular Expedited is cheaper than Commercial Expedited and you can have 3% discount on V1 price. You'll have a good discount on shipping within Canada.
