I have a suspicious buyer! what do I do?

I have a buyer with 0 feedback!! He bought my item 1 minute after it was listed ($350) and then bombarded me with emails within 5 minutes of purchase saying that:

And then another email with the same content!! Then I sent him/her a few options for shipping right away and it’s now 24 hours that I haven’t heard from him/her.

I know it’s too early but asking me to send him the PayPal address via his email and not eBay is making me nervous! Also the fact that he has 0 feedback! And also, didn’t he/she want the item shipped today?? What do I do??

Is this an auction? Is the auction still active?

If so, cancel the bid. You don't have to give any reason. Then add him to your Blocked Bidder List.

Is this a Fixed Price listing? Or has the auction ended? Go silent. You don't have to do anything until he pays. Add him to your Blocked Bidder List to prevent future problems.

If he doesn't pay, in 4 days (96 hours) you can open an Unpaid Item Dispute. If he does not pay, you get your fees back, he gets a UID Strike which will prevent him from bidding with many sellers. Neither can leave feedback or Detailed Seller Ratings, which would be my greatest concern.

While you are waiting, go to Manage Buyers and install blocks against bidders with no Paypal accounts, bidders from countries you don't want to ship to, and bidders with UID Strikes.

Most of your items are inexpensive (but very pretty) and you are a new seller. You are catnip for scammers. This one just sounds nuts, but protect yourself anyway.

BTW- Be careful with the word "Swarovski" . They are a part of the VERO program and your listing can be pulled if the crystal is not the actual name brand.

I have a suspicious buyer! what do I do?

Hi - I had a similar experience with a buyer who had a feedback of 0 and although I was a little nervous we all started at 0 right so everyone deserves to be treated fairly?
Then, right after the auction was over I lost contact completely. I have opened a Unpaid Dispute and e-Bay is STILL awaiting the buyers reply. Does anyone know how long they allow for the other party to answer?
This was not a large amount by any means but it really has made me think. How can we block the bad buyers using parameters such as 0 feedback or just on e-Bay for less then a month, etc without blocking actual good buyers who are genuine and truly have just started and deserve a fair chance?
Any advice?
