I had an item listed and sold but misplaced the item. I contacted the buyer and told them of the problem but they requested I look for the item. I searched for this item but could not find, I opened a case but the buyer denied and the case was closed and it was requested that I complete the transaction.
I searched for answers on where I can go from here and I seen that I could appeal. I went to the resolution page but could not see the appeal button I am supposed to click. I feel bad for not holding up to my part in this transaction but I could not make things right.
Please help.
Thank you, Derrick

Hi Derrick.. not sure what you are trying to accomplish. There is no appeal process for you.
The only outstanding issue is the loss of your final value fee because the buyer denied your cancel. I really don't think eBay would waive.
Best to delete and move on. Did you notify buyer that you were unable to locate. Just hopeing buyer is understanding enough not to leave bad feedback.

@ heidilynn0_3 All I am trying to do is be able to cancel the transaction, I feel bad because I misplaced the item but what else can I do? As for the fees, I can live with that but not being able to compete the transaction, that is another thing. I will be more careful in the future and keep the things I am selling here in a more secure place so they are not misplaced or taken.

If you sent a transaction cancellation to the buyer and they denied it, there is nothing you can do. Did they pay? Did you refund the buyer already? You can't complete the transaction without the item. Since you do not have it, you will have to refund and that's it. Nothing else can be done.
