Discuss this with your seller before bidding.

While most US sellers are happier shipping domestically than to another country like Canada, the problem is Paypal.

You can add more addresses to your Paypal account, but all the addresses must be in the same country.

More complicated is the Hotel part. As a seller, I would be uncomfortable shipping to a hotel at any time, because anyone living there is likely to be transient. (Unless her name is Eloise and she lives at the Plaza.)

Your best bets are :

a) Buy early and carry the item down with you.

b) Have the item delivered to your home address, but when you leave for your vacation, buy a Hold Mail service from Canada Post.

c) Have it delivered to a relative in Canada.

d) Have it delivered to a relative in the USA using her US based eBay and PP accounts.
