I want to purchase items that the seller hasn't listed on ebay.

Hi everyone,

I just recently won 2 auctions and I asked the seller to do a combine shipping, which he agreed to do. However, the seller is offering me some additional items to purchase. I am very interested in the item, but he has not listed the items on Ebay. Instead, he wants to bill the items straight through Paypal...

I am hesitant to agree, is this allowed and if I do agree, will I be covered by Ebay's buyer protection?

It's not a problem.

The seller has items he does not want to sell on eBay. We are allowed to turn customers met on eBay into personal customers.

No you will not be covered by eBay if you do not buy through eBay, but you will be covered by Paypal which has equally strong Buyer Protection.

If you back your PP account with a credit card, you will also have the protection of their chargeback policy.

Whether you are buying on eBay or else where, Paypal and your credit card make for a powerful consumer protection service.
