I was 40 feet from Queen Eliabth today.

For about 3 seconds as she drove by.

All I saw was the hat.

At least they put her in a limo - not like Charles, who they had riding in a cargo vn last year.

I saw her and Prince Philip once when I was just a kid. They drove down my grandparent's street, which was narrow, and I had a great view of her from only a few feet away.

I have absolutely no recollection of what kind of car they were in.

I remember years ago seeing her hat too! Wasn't close enough to see anything else. LOL

There was an article in the Globe about her current collection which numbers about 500.

The article mentioned that her hats are required to be "off the face" and showed two hats with turned down brims. The Globe has some of the worst fashion reporters around. Maybe they just need to be fed.
