I wasn't shipped all that was advertised for in the buy-it-now of a certain camera, it is suppose to come with a fluid head tripod. I purchased it as a gift and the party I had given it to wants to make sure I get all was advertised for.
I had forgotten that it was in the item description and asked the seller if they had a tripod, camera adapter, and power cable (two other things I was expecting) for sale, they said:
I will do the camera adaptor assembly with tripod and everything you need to mount the camera for 175.00 including shipping. I don't have a hard wire cable for power, but if you can find one I would be willing to pay you up to 35.00 back.
We are willing to send an additional $100.00 to aid the seller in the shipping of the shorted original shipment as it is a heavy incurred cost for the sellers simple mistake. We hope that's all it was, a mistake, and that we are trying to be as accommodating as possible but we don't want to be taken advantage of either. But when I was about to send the seller this I noticed that I eBay's policy says I can't reply to him about a transaction that will take place out of eBay.
Any help you could give us to ensure the completion of the original order would be greatly appreciated.

This is a member to member Board, so all you can get here is advice, although usually pretty good advice.
First, read the description again carefully. Are you sure that the part you are missing was actually part of the lot?
asked the seller if they had a tripod, camera adapter, and power cable (two other things I was expecting) for sale,
It sounds as if you were imagining more was in the lot than was actually described. It also sounds as if the seller is not a business, as such, but is selling products ad hoc. (Pretty much what I do. On none of my IDs am I buying from the manufacturer. This is not usually a problem.) BTW, that also means that any warranty claims should be with the manufacturer and not the seller.
For the moment, forget about the adaptor and cable, which do not appear to have been part of the original deal.
If the tripod was in the description, what you recieved is Not As Described. If the seller is not willing to send the rest of the lot as described, and to do so at no further cost to you, you can go to eBay/Paypal with a Dispute.
PP will requre you to return the camera to the seller with Confirmation of Delivery, and Signature if the total value is over $250 including postage, before they will refund you your original payment.
You will not be refunded the return shipping.
PP would be refunding from their own pocket and going after the seller for their money. The seller also gets a black mark on his account.
The principle is that neither party can have both the item and the money and PP wants Proof that the item was delivered to the buyer and returned to the seller.
If you give us the transaction number, we could give more precise direction.
