I have noticed that US and International buyers always have to ask for a shipping cost even though I offer worldwide shipping.
Is this because Ebays main office is in the US and cannot calculate shipping from Canada Post?
Just looking for input. Thanks

The problem is that you are using Canada Post International Air for all international countries and since that service does not exist in many of those countries, the calculator can't figure out what to charge.
Your U.S. rates should be set up separately from other countries. For less expensive items that will be under 1 kg you could use Small packet air USA or small packet ground USA. Those services do not have tracking but do have up to $100 insurance.
For heavier or expensive items sent to the U.S., you would have to use expedited parcel USA. That has delivery confirmation and insurance up to $100 but you can buy extra insurance if needed. (If an item is over $250 you need to get a signature so you would have to use xpresspost USA)
For other international countries, you could use Small packet international air for packages up to 2kg. It also has insurance up to $100 and no delivery confirmation.
There is a small packet international ground service which is less expensive than air but delivery can take 6-12 weeks and you'll find that most buyers will put in a claim for item not received before that time. It is best to use air services only.
For an international service with delivery confirmation (for more expensive items) there is either xpresspost international or international parcel air. To find out which country has which service, you would have to look on the Canada Post website.
It is important to realize that the ebay shipping calculator does not tell you when you've done something wrong so it is a good idea to check your listings once they are live to see what they are showing for shipping prices. To do that, click on the shipping tab, change the country and click get rates. If there is no rate showing, there is a problem in the setup.

Hi .. You have worldwide , calculator but only have specified a shipping cost for Canada. You must select US and international when listing and enter the shipping.
No one else does it for you. Ebay now requires stated shipping cost for US members.

If you don't specify a shipping cost to the USA or other duo reign destinations, your listing will not show up in search results for those countries.
