WHEN I TRY TO LIST AN ITEM FOR SALE, I CANT GET BY THE FIRST STEP.

What do you think is the first step?

Click on Sell. You get a new page

First you pick a category- click on Browse Categories

Then click on the appropriate or most appropriate words.Then click Continue.

Hi if you find the answer please post as I have the same problem.

It asks for product number or description which I enter and it comes back in red please enter a valid description.

If I am searching on ebay with my product code or the description

it finds it no problem.

Or if I try to sell it using the US ebay it works.

Is our Canadian Ebay an inferior product that things dont work???
