Looking at buying a truck. It has high bid and underneath that it has approximate which is higher

Why does it have a high bid of one amount and then show approximate underneath which is a higher amount?  Never saw this before.  Is it something to do with it being a vehicle?

No.

The truck is being sold in US dollars.

You are looking at it on eBay CANADA.

The approximation is the amount in loonies.

The Canadian dollar is just over 85 cents US at the moment and this fluctuates rapidly.

In addition,if the vehicle is in the USA , there may be duty and sales tax charged at the border and the shipper may also charge for customs brokerage.
