Sold 5 items to Poland listed on .ca.
Domestic shipping is $2.50 and 50¢ for each additional which would be $4.50 domestic if sold to Canada and 27¢ FVF on the shipping.
Shipping to Poland is $10.00 and 50¢ for each additional for a total of $12.00 for shipping
Ebay charged 14¢ per item FVF on shipping for a total of 70¢
Please explain to me how this works as it makes no sense to me.
I have brought this up before with a combined sale from .com going overseas which made no sense either.
It is certainly not base on anything to do with domestic sales and in my opinion another rip off cash grab by Ebay without any valid support for same.

What is the listing numbers of the five items?

I am not sure but I think the problem may have to do with how eBay calculates FVF on shipping for items sold under "Best Offer".
Possibly they do not get grouped together as they would if sold at the regular posted BIN price.
I suggest you contact Raphael directly by email and ask him, after giving the same information.
Good Luck.

Remember I posted the US combined shipping fiasco on the discussion board and Raphael said thanks for bringing it to his attention.
That's where it ended up and of course I have not heard anything back from CS for the case I opened.
No surprise. CS may as well say who cares as I doubt anything is ever done even if a case is opened and documented
Hence why I started my other post today.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
Then quit. There's no point in being a darn fool about it.

Sent to Raphael and will see what happens. My guess is he will get as many straight answers as sellers get as Ebay does not want to admit any oops that will cost them money now, retroactive, or in the future.

I am just getting a little tired of Ebays:
"Frankly my dear, I don't give a ____"
attitude

I don't think it is an oops. As recped mentioned, they have always figured out fvf on combined international shipping costs that way. I realize that they don't spell that out in the fvf info but they don't mention combined shipping at all in that info.
Maybe they set it up that way to make more money...or maybe the system is not able to figure it out? On a domestic transaction they base the shipping fvf on the actual amount paid......is it possible that the system bases it on the actual international shipping paid because it can't 'assume' how much domestic combined shipping would have been??
I know...I might grasping at straws there...
I do agree with you that it should be done based on the actual domestic combined shipping charge but the fact that they don't do it that way is probably not an accident.
