Msg From ebay HUGE SAVINGS ARE COMING

I received an email in my Hotmail account this morning that looks like it came from ebay, but looks odd. Did anyone else get an email in the subject line

Huge Savings are coming

Check eBay Massages to see if it is there.

If it is there... it is real

If not there... then it may be a phishing email... and then be careful... do not respond...

report to eBay....    For information link to

http://pages.ebay.ca/help/account/questions/email-from-ebay.html

then forward it to ....spoof@ebay.com......and then delete

eBay marketing emails never show up in My Messages. I get several every day and none ever appear there.

OP, what is odd about the message that makes you think there is something suspicious?

It isn't in my messages folder from ebay. I tried to open the email earlier because it looked like it was from ebay, but it would only partially open. I closed it and sent to spoof@ebay.com

Didnt see it but that is the messaging that would make sense for today.  They've been promoting cyber monday deals coming on the home page (eg ebay makes up some fake reg prices and promotes things at the price they always are on ebay)
