If the address you have on your Paypal account (not eBay) is the one your seller used, you are right, the responsibility lies with Canada Post not with the seller.

So was it delivered to the address on your Paypal account?

How do you know it was delivered to another address in your city?

Have you considered just going to that address and asking for it?

Are you certain you got the correct tracking number from your seller?

Hello 'steen-pete',

I'm confused, - you say you do not know to where it was delivered, but you claim it was delivered to an address in your city.  What makes you so sure?

Is there any chance this was a GSP item?  That would be an item you bought from an American seller who uses the Global Shipping Program.

That could change things:  On a GSP item, the seller mails it to a processing plant in Kentucky where the tracking would show as "Delivered".  This often gets new users in a fume.

From there it gets repackaged and then mailed on to you.  It is a comparatively slow process, but if you bought it fairly recently and it was a GSP item, ...  well then, the outlook is not so bleak.

What exactly does your tracking info say at this point?

You can always ask the seller for precisely what address she put on the label, and maybe take the tracking number and information to your local post office to see if they can provide any further insight.  If the parcel was clearly and correctly labeled, but was somehow misdirected to someone else's house, well, the Post Office will want to know about it.

On the other hand, if it is a GSP item it may very well be on its way to you right now.
