Need a place to vent

Hey I just started this group as I really do not have anyone to vent to~ I ordered a pair of earrings from a dealer, being new, overpaid, got them and they were ! So many things wrong with them and not at all like the photo. It is in resolution, and I have been told I will get prompt full refund. I spent 8.30 to return from Canada, which in my eyes is even worth more than the earrings. I have pre paid so many other items and am nervously awaiting!!! Just started using ebay for stress shopping and am stressed?????

• I appreciate your frustration being new to all of this.  But you said that you "overpaid" - if you think it's overpriced - never do that - you can go to your local stores.  I've a feeling you purchased these earrings from China and yes, if they are not as described they would want you to pay for shipping back to them.  IF this was the case and they were from China and if they were just costume jewellry, it's never worth paying $ to send back.  As you can see I'm presuming they were from China, maybe they weren't - so sorry if that is not the case.  I have ordered from China quite a bit in the past, mainly just women's tops which were cheap (bought the exact same top I saw in a store near me for $10.00 where it was $39.99.)  BUT, I know when ordering from there I know in advance that if it doesn't fit or something is not right......I'm NOT going to send it back.  I just give it to a women's shelter I give old clothes to.  Having said that I've only had to donate a couple of items - I'm small, but NOT asian small!
