New eBay Glitch with BIN and 2nd Chance Offers

Last week I listed some instruments on auction but with a BIN deal where I would pay freight if person used the BIN option and paid within 24 hours.

I sold an instrument on auction (not BIN) and sent 2nd chance offers to the next 2 highest bidders as I had more than one in my inventory. The one that sold and the two 2nd chance offers were less than my BIN price.

I didnt mind selling these instruments for the highest bids to the other buyers but eBay also included the Free Shipping deal in its 2nd chance email to these other buyers as a 2nd chance offer is not an auction but a BIN.

So I ended up selling 2 items for less than my BIN and I have to pay shipping. Thanks eBay!

Thank goodness they were profitable deals but eBay cost me close to $60 in shipping,

When you set up your setting in the perferences , this is somthing that Ebay allows you to alter. If the item email is not altered then the email goes out as a default.

This is not a glich this is a setting
