Hi, I just reported an item unpaid and ebay opened a dispute claim. Now we are waiting for that buyer to respond. My question is how long do I wait to relist the item, and will eBay notify me when it's okay to do so? I'd hate to relist the item and then have the original buyer pay. It's been almost 2 weeks since the auction closed but only 2 days since the dispute was opened. Thanks for your anticipated response.
Personally, I think you have jumpped the gun a little on this. Starting a NPB process after 2weeks, when Canada post has only delivered mail less than 50 % of the time with xmas holidays. This person could have sent a money order and it has been delayed because of the above mentioned reason.
Its like a buyer saying" Hey were is my stuff" I paid you 48 hours ago and it hasn't be delivered to me....I DEMAND IT NOW!..And your like um...it was paid for a on saturday and the mail doesn't get picked up on a saturday....Wouldn't you expect a little lee-way???
just be careful about leaving a NEG feedback, If leave one too soon, This person could only to happy to return the favor
Okay thanks for your feedback, but it has been 2 weeks without any correspondense from the winning bidder despite 3 attempts to reach them, and I looked at his feedback and he/she has -1, with the negative feedback saying he won the auction and the seller never heard from him/her, so the seller relisted and left negative. However, I will wait another week or so.
I wouldn't bother another week if the buyer has -1 FB score. Relist and leave the neg. It will not affect your score even if they leave a neg, just the comment will appear...
New FB rule prevents these newbies from screwing you up
I file as soon as I can if I haven't heard from the buyer. If they can't go through check out or email me within 7 days, then all my pretty emails aren't going to make any difference. IF they're going to pay, the UPI process will hurry them along.
